WHAT WE DO

AET acts as an umbrella body that brings together the Amboseli communities and partnering organizations to:

  • draw up conservation and development plans for the ecosystem,
  • raise financial and technical support,
  • conduct outreach programs,
  • integrate and coordinate group ranch, conservation and development activities,
  • and act as umbrella body for programs such as scouts association, cattlemen's association, and resource assessors.

SOME OF OUR CURRENT PROJECTS INCLUDE:

  • The Amboseli Noonkotiak Resource Program (click for more info)
The Amboseli Noonkotiak Centre brings together the functions of AET at a central place, and acts as an information and coordination hub.

  • Implementation of the Management Plan (click for more info)
In 2007, AET sat down with its funding and supporting partners and created an action plan,
which can be accessed in its entirety by clicking here to download the full document.
